To create a benchmark, we must first add the workout into Triib.
From any screen in the Admin menu, click on “Coaches Corner”
From the list, select “Workouts”
Then click the “Add New Workout” button.
Now you can enter in the details of your workout. In this example, we’ve entered the CrossFit Benchmark WOD “Cindy”.
If you’d like to enter the movements included in your workout, it is optional, as shown. The number of sets and reps only needs to be entered in for a Weightlifting Benchmark, not a Metcon. Once you’ve entered in all your workout details, press the “Save” button.
Now that the workout is entered, we can now designate it as a “Benchmark”. To start this, select “Benchmarks” from the “Coaches Corner” drop down.
In the “Workout” field, you can type the workout you just created. In this example, we’ve typed “Cindy”. In this example, we want to add the benchmark as a Metcon, although Strength is also an option.
Once you’ve entered the workout and selected the category, press the “Save Benchmark” button.
That’s it! If you want to see the leaderboard for your benchmarks to help with the community aspect of your gym, there’s a “Benchmark Leaderboard” on the home page of your Triib site. Click on the “Leaderboards” button and you’ll have the option of viewing your Benchmark.
