Q: What is an easy way to see everyone who has a coach, staff, or admin status in my gym?
A: Triib offers a “Staff” section on your admin dashboard to make visibility and management of these accounts detailed yet easy. For a better understanding of the difference between each status please see the attached image and/or the detailed help center article below.
Q: Can I restrict any areas of the platform from certain staff members?
A: Yes! From the coaches profile, you have the ability to determine exactly what they can access vs not. This gives you the ability to have multiple staff members, but not have to allow them to all have the same access. Maybe you have a coach that should only be able to see their schedule, but another who can help with memberships. This is all customizable from this property setting in their account. Below is a screenshot of all the fields you have the ability to set.
Tip: The status of the user will override the access restriction settings meaning; if you give a user “Staff” access AND allow them access to reports, the system will still limit them from seeing any revenue-based reports. They can run member reports if they have access to member details and memberships etc, but they will not have access to any financial reports. Only Admin status can see these details!
Q: What is the coaching schedule?
A: This is a quick way to run a report to determine exactly how many classes your coaches are assigned to as well as the average attendance based on that data. To run this report Admin status is needed unless you have the status of Staff with access to “Staff” mentioned in advanced access restrictions.
This report shows you the total number of classes coached over a particular time frame, but does not show you a coaches payroll totals or personal training sessions. That information can be found on the coach's payroll report.
Q: How does an admin set up a coaches payroll details?
A: This is done from the staff info tab on the individual's profile. Staff info -> Edit Staff Details- > from here you will see you have the ability to set the employees pay rate per class, set their personal training rate (if applicable), and set the percentage of this rate that is paid to the coach.
