Q: Where can I find all of my member lists?
A: Different member lists are offered in several places inside the Triib Platform, but we do provide you with quick access to all your member list directly under the members tab on the dashboard. Your active member list is a stand-alone report giving the admin or staff member easy access to the information. All other reports will fall under your other member Lists.
The image below shows you exactly where to find this list and a breakdown of the reports available.
Q: What is an active member?
A: This can vary based on the gym set up, but an active member can be any client in your system with a current membership, attendance pack, or personal training pack.
TIP: If an attendance pack or personal training pack is created without an expiration date and is set to “include in active member count” then these members will always count as active members until the remaining sessions are zero or the admin sets an expiration date! See the attendance pack or personal training pack report to determine if this could be the case for your gym!
Q: How do I delete a member?
A: Due to financial history members profiles can hold, Triib does not allow any account to ever be deleted. Admins also can no archive an account with an active plan attached to it. You will need to make sure all plans have been canceled prior to following the steps below.
To archive an account no longer needed in your active or other members list:
- From your admin dashboard, search the member you are looking to archive
- Select “Edit member information”
- Select Archive
**See your other members list to locate all archived accounts.**
Q: How can I export my active member list to sort data?
A: Exporting your member list or any report for that matter is very simple inside of Triib. You can opt to download the CSV or Excel spreadsheet. If you do not have Excel Google Sheets is free, it does allow you to download any CSV or Excel file and then open it in Google Drive!
Tip: For any customer that is not very familiar with spreadsheets, you can sort reports by any of the column headers PRIOR to exporting and the exported data will remain in that format! This can make it easier than trying to sort inside the spreadsheet itself! To do this you would just need to click on the “up” or “down” arrow next to the column header you wish to sort by.
Example: Sort your report by Joint date or Primary Plan Type prior to exporting. This can group members by date or plan type making data easier to review.
Q: How can I manually add a new member?
A: If you don’t offer online signup or use your kiosk for new member sign-ups you can manually add a contact/member to your platform. Once the member has been created, you will still want to add a billing method as well as apply a membership type or sell them an attendance/personal training pack.
Q: Where can I find my members performance history?
A: As an admin, you have the ability to review all members past workout history as well as make necessary changes to their information if something has been recorded incorrectly. This will give you the ability to their most recent workouts, lifting maxes, as well as metcon and gymnastics history (if recorded).
Q: How do I edit a members 1RM?
A: Post-workout brain, sweaty fingers, or mistakes, in general, can all lead to someone recording a workout or weight incorrectly. This can really matter when it is a 1RM and you are trying to pull percentages from this screen. Members do not have the ability to change a 1RM score to a lesser weight if something was recorded incorrectly, but admins do!
To change the 1RM score in a members profile:
- Search Member
- View Workout History
1. Search one of the three max history sections based on max needing to be edited: Weightlifting, MetCon, Gymnastics. For this example, we are looking under weight lifting
2. Next search in the “most recent workouts” section to find the work that matches the recorded score
3. Click directly on the Workout Name
4. Select the Edit Icon
5. Edit intended category
6. Save Score
Q: What is “Access” on my members profile?
A: This is a high-level look at your individual member's access within the platform. This will show you what plan they are on, how many attendance they are allowed each month, their current attendance to date, what classes their membership gives them access to, and what programming sections they should be able to see based on what has been entered.
Tip: If your member can not check into a specific class or see workouts on their app, this can be the first place to check. Confirm they have been given “access” to see these items. If they don’t have access then you would want to check your program setup.
Q: What are mailing labels inside of Triib?
A: Mailing labels are available for bulk printing on one of the label types listed above. If you like to send out holiday cards or a mass invites to an event, Triib gives you an easy way to generate the label! These labels are only generated for active members.
Q: What are member groups and how can they be useful?
A: Triib does a great job at offering communication options based on groupings by membership types, attendance packs, and registered events in the messaging portion of your platform. Triib also recognizes the need for additional members groups that might fit these categories. A few examples of member groups:
- Members following a specific programming type that is not specified by their membership type:
- Sports performance
- Parents of your children: Maybe the children are grouped by a membership type already, but you want a way to send their parents mass messages.
- Running Club
Triib will also give you the ability to create member groups based on age, although this is a feature that is less frequently used, it is available and is a simple process to set up!
Q: What is the member group called Prospects?
A: See the article for prospects under Dashboards for additional detail, but this is a group of people that have either filled out your Triib Contact form or your “request more information” form via your kiosk.
